SHRA has been researching the history of particular streets using the resources available at Richmond Local Studies Library and online resources, such as those available from ancestry.co.uk and British Newspaper Archive.  These have been published online under the ‘Streetwise’ label and in an abridged form in the Bulletin.  We would like to hear from anyone who would like to research their own street under the ‘Streetwise’ banner – contact@shra.org.uk.  Brief street histories can also be found in our local history book, Strawberry Hill: A History of the Neighbourhood.
